Kristen Rourke
Kristen is a junior Architectural History major at the Savannah College of Art and Design. History has always fascinated Kristen since she was very young, especially the history of art and architecture. She is currently doing research on the Davenport House in Savannah for an exhibit on the building's history as a tenement house. Kristen is also very fascinated with the paranormal, as most old houses have a history in both living and dead residents. She started working as a guide with America By Foot in April 2007 and is looking forward to many more nights of good storytelling.

picture of Gail Nicholson
Gail Nicholson
Born in Connecticut, Gail moved out west before calling Savannah her home. When she moved here in 1994 due to her husband’s job, she had no idea of the number of tourists visiting Savannah. After a dear aunt and uncle came to visit and was asked to show them Savannah, she thought what a wonderful opportunity to be paid to do something you love--showing others around the city. While licensed to drive trolleys, she believes seeing the city on foot is superior. She considers it a privilege to introduce you to Savannah. Once the sun sets, we can explore Savannah "after dark" looking for those orbs of light while listening to the stories of those that have lived here before yet still seem to have a presence in our city.
